The Santa Rosa POA respects your privacy. Telephone and online scams are on the rise. We will NEVER solicit donations by telephone or email. We DO solicit for donations through US mail and our website. A sample of the donation letter sent on our behalf is shown next to the left of this message.

If you are solicited for a donation on our behalf from a source other than one of our official venues or by US Mail with the letter shown here, DO NOT give the requester a donation and contact us immediately so we can confirm the identity of the party trying to collect money on our behalf.  NEVER give your personal, financial or password information to anyone over the phone or online unless YOU are the one who initiated the contact! We will never call you and ask for this information from you.

SCAM TEST: Did someone contact me and ask me for my personal or banking information without me asking them for something first? If the answer to this question is YES, then IT'S A SCAM! No legitimate person or business has any reason to ask you for this information unless you are the one who initiated contact with them for service. Be smart and be safe. When in doubt, ask for help from someone you trust or your local law enforcement agency.
